Something new from us at Vault. Each month one of the team here will talk about a subject connected to their area or even just share some of the fantastic news coming out of Vault Youth Zone.
First up is our Chief Operating Officer, Natalie Dugdale.
“April has always been a special month for me. My birthday month, my anniversary, lots of family celebrations (including a dog birthday!!). This April hit differently though, with our long awaited (17 years to be exact) youth zone finally being able to welcome young people into the building as we jumped into the operational phase of our opening plan.
“This month we have welcomed over 1500 new young people as members, we’ve had more than 3800 young people through the doors and we’ve delivered 36 hours of young work each week. The team have used this time to build relationships with our young people, to test our readiness and trial our facilities, and it all feels full of exciting new possibilities.
“An additional surprise, but very welcome opportunity, came my way with a change in responsibility within my role. This is something that I take a huge amount of pride in as I get to support our incredible team to move the youth zone forward into our exciting new phase.”
