Sika announced as latest Patron of Vault Youth Zone

Vault Youth Zone is delighted to announce Sika as its latest patron, strengthening its commitment to supporting young people across Preston and the surrounding communities.

Since opening to young people earlier this year, thousands of young people have visited Vault and experienced the amazing facilities and activities on offer. Young people aged from eight to 19 (or 25 with additional needs) from across Preston can try out activities ranging from sports to arts and crafts, have a safe space to hang out, and have trusted youth workers to talk to.

Sika’s decision to become a Patron of Vault Youth Zone reflects its strong connection to Preston and its commitment to supporting the communities in which it operates.

With Sika’s local manufacturing presence and a workforce that includes many people from the Preston area, the company recognises the importance of investing in the local community and creating positive opportunities for young people.

Becoming a patron of Vault Youth Zone provides an opportunity for Sika to contribute to the local community and support a facility designed to give young people access to activities, education, skills development and positive experiences.

Jumoke Adegunle, Business Unit Manager for Building Envelope at Sika commented, “Preston has been home to Sika for many years, and we’re proud to be part of the city’s business community. Visiting Vault and seeing the fantastic spaces and opportunities available to young people has reinforced why this partnership is so important. By working together, we hope to help young people broaden their horizons, develop valuable skills and discover career opportunities they may not previously have considered. We are excited to support Vault and build a partnership that creates lasting benefits for Preston.”

Tim Jacques, CEO at Vault Youth Zone adds, “We are delighted to welcome Sika as a patron of Vault Youth Zone. Their support, expertise and commitment to Preston will make a valuable contribution to our work with young people. It is particularly encouraging to have the support of a local business that shares our belief in the importance of skills, education and creating positive opportunities for the next generation.”

Sika’s patronage represents another important partnership for Vault Youth Zone as it continues to bring together businesses and organisations committed to helping young people across Preston reach their potential.
